Jonah Hill says working with Martin Scorsese was the best moment of his life.

The actor isn't sure how he'll be able to top teaming up with one of his film icons in 'The Wolf of Wall Street', which he starred in with Leonardo Dicaprio.

Speaking about Scorsese, he told MTV News: ''I wrote him a note when we wrapped the film and exchanged gifts, I wrote him a note about how grateful I was to be included in the movie and I said, 'Well, the rest of my life is just egg noodles and ketchup,' which is [the line] at the end of 'GoodFellas'.

''Like, how do you compare any other work experience to working with Martin Scorsese for six months? It was just the greatest experience of my life.''

Working on the movie with those he looks up to for six months made Hill immensely ''proud'', and he described it as a great ''challenge''.

He added: ''Honestly, I've never been so proud of something in my life. I've never been so proud of a performance.

''I've never been so challenged by a performance. It's a very dream-like [time] for me. It's hard to imagine it being a reality.''
