Mary Tyler Moore is set to team up with Betty White on the small screen for the first time in 33 years when the pair star alongside each other in the season premiere of 'Hot in Cleveland', reports the New York Daily News.
Moore hasn't acted alongside 88-year-old White since the pair worked together on 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show', which finished in 1977. Although, Moore's character in the new show is yet to be announced, it is thought that she will be involved in the concluding storyline from season one, which saw White's character getting arrested. According to CBS, the episode was filmed in the same studio where 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' show was taped.
Back in July 2010, it was announced that 'Hot in Cleveland' had been commissioned to make a new 20-episode second season, following on from the success of season one. The sitcom follows three entertainment industry veterans from Los Angeles who end up in Cleveland Ohio after their Paris bound plane lands there. They are welcomed by a friendly community that is less shallow than the LA culture they are used to. The show returns on January 19th 2011 on the TV Land network.
