Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer might be best of mates in 'Magic Mike' but when the cameras weren't rolling, the pair were continually feuding, apparently. According to Hollywood Life, the two actors would get into "screaming matches" on set, once the cameras were turned off and a source told US Weekly that Pettyfer's attitude didn't go down well during the filming of the movie.
Channing Tatum's nice-guy reputation doesn't appear to have been harmed too badly in the reports, in which the source claims "Alex was a jerk to everyone during filming for no reason. He thinks he's the star of the movie, not Channing or Matthew Mcconaughey." It would seem that the feuding between 32 year-old Tatum and 22 year-old Pettyfer was so bad that it has prevented them from doing promotional interviews together. The co-producer of the film also reportedly cut Alex out of a scene altogether, which caused him to go "on a rampage about."
Channing might start wishing he'd never agreed to make the film, which is very loosely based on his own past, when he briefly worked as a stripper to earn money. Some of his old comrades, Thomas 'Awesome' Austin and London Steele, have accused Channing of using their own stories for the movies and failing to credit them for it. Tatum dismissed the claims, saying "Those guys have been trying to make money off of me since I got into this business."
