Further details of Matthew Mcconaughey 's wedding to Camila Alves have emerged, following the release of the latest issue of People magazine, which reveals exclusive photos and details from the couple's big day. In the issue, the Hollywood actor, 42, says, "We decided to embrace the ritual of marriage as an opportunity and adventure we'll take together".
The pair welcomed around 120 guests to the three day extravaganza on the grounds of their sprawling estate in Texas, included Reese Witherspoon, singer Kenny Chesney, and Woody Harrelson. The couple's son Levi - who turns 4 in July - served as ring-bearer, while their daughter Vida was flower girl at the Catholic ceremony. Brazilian model Camila, 29, said, "Somehow they both seem to understand what we are doing on a spiritual level". People magazine's cover photo shows MCConaughey gazing into his wife's eyes, wearing a dapper black tuxedo. His wife wears a "hand-stitched" ivory wedding dress, with a traditional veil and diamond earrings.
As was previously reported - the wedding was no ordinary nuptials, with guests were invited to 'camp out' in luxury tents, play lawn games, and lounge around in hammocks. Those working at the event were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements. MCConaughey will next star in Steven Soderbergh's comedy-drama 'Magic Mike', about a male stripper who teaches a younger performer how to party, pick up women, and make easy money.
