Hollywood stars Matthew Mcconaughey and Kate Hudson have been selected to present trophies at the forthcoming Screen Actor's Guild Awards. The SGAs will go ahead on 27 January (08) after being granted a waiver by the Writers Guild of America - whose current strikes forced both the Golden Globes and the People's Choice Awards to cancel their star-studded ceremonies. MCConaughey and Hudson will be joined at the Los Angeles event by Denis Leary and Burt Reynolds, who are set to present the Guild's 44th life achievement award to legendary actor Charles Durning.
