Matthew Morrison wants to appear in 'Gossip Girl', while his friend Chace Crawford wants to show off his singing skills in 'Glee'.
The 32-year-old actor - best known for portraying teacher Will Schuester in musical TV series 'Glee' - would love to swap shows with close pal Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald in the New York-based Drama.
Matthew said: "I think Chace could definitely do 'Glee'. He's one of my good buddies so I'd love him to be on the show. It'd be awesome! And I'd love to be on 'Gossip Girl'."
Chace, 25, backs Matthew's plan for a show swap, and even has a potential plotline for his friend involving Blake Lively's character Serena van der Woodsen.
He told E! Online: "What could Matt do on 'Gossip Girl'? Come in as an unassuming billionaire to some oil company and then drug Serena up and leave her for dead somewhere so she has to reconcile her life. Sounds a little familiar, right?"
Chace also promised he has the vocal talent to do well on 'Glee'.
Matthew also revealed he gets closer to Gwyneth Paltrow when she makes her second guest appearance in 'Glee' as substitute teacher Holly Holiday.
He said: "We're doing a tango. We might have a little make out session."
