British boy band McFly have launched a contest to find undiscovered talent to support them on their upcoming U.K. tour.
The Obviously hitmakers are hitting the road in Britain next spring (12), and they're hunting for groups or solo artists to warm up the crowds for them.
Singer Tom Fletcher tells British TV host Lorraine Kelly, "We're going to have a different band support us every night on tour. They can be unsigned, signed, solo artists, girl bands. They can sign up from today on MCFly.com and they need to get as many votes as possible.
"We've done something similar in the past where we have had local bands support us, but it gives bands a chance to play shows."
Drummer Harry Judd adds, "It's a really exciting opportunity for these guys. 26 dates. It's exciting for us as well to see these unsigned bands."
