Actress Megan Fox has settled her feud with bosses at a French magazine after they misquoted her.
The Transformers beauty came under fire in March (12) after excerpts of her interview with Jalouse magazine were translated into English by some U.S. media outlets.
Fox was quoted as saying, "(I) live well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl" - but she quickly denied making the shallow remarks and assured fans the meaning of her words had been lost in translation.
Jalouse editors have since backtracked by printing a retraction, which reads, "In a Jalouse cover story featuring Ms. Megan Fox, we unfortunately misquoted Ms. Fox. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."
In a post on her Facebook.com page, Fox showed fans the magazine's statement, writing, "Thank you Jalouse Magazine for printing the following retraction."
