It has been confirmed that the Hollywood actor Mel Gibson will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming movie 'The Hangover 2'. The 54-year-old has joined the film's cast and will play a Bangkok tattoo artist.
The comedy, set for release on 26th May 2011, will see Zach Galifianakis and Bradley Cooper reprising their roles from the original movie, and will once again see the group on a wild adventure. However, it is currently unclear whether Gibson will play a variation of himself, as Mike Tyson did in the first film, or whether he will portray a fictional character. A source told the New York Post, "It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October".
The news comes after SASHA BARRESE announced last week that an "unbelievable" actor would have the "best cameo you've ever seen in your life" in the forthcoming film. In other casting news, E! Online recently reported that Heather Graham would not be reprising her role as a Vegas stripper.
