Brad Pitt clearly knows the way to a woman's heart: powerful firearms and something to shoot them at. According to sources, the 'Killing Them Softly' star splurged nearly $500,000 on a shooting range for his soon-to-be wife Angelina Jolie, as an early wedding present, reports The Sun newspaper.
The range comes with people-shaped-targets and has been set up on the grounds of Brad and Angelina's Miraval estate in Southern France. A source close to the couple said, "Brad had a lot to live up to with his wedding gift considering Angelina exchanged vials of blood with her ex-husband Billy-Bob Thornton. But Ange clearly finds shooting an aphrodisiac. When she and Brad were around weapons on the set of 2005's Mr & Mrs Smith they ended up together". Pitt reportedly chose the wacky gift in order to let Angelina "de-stress" on their vast estate, meaning he's less likely to get ear-ache when indoors. The insider added, "There's a lot to be said for that when you have six kids".
Pitt is showing no signs of slowing and continues to be one of Hollywood's most prolific actors. He has no less than five movies on the horizon, including historical drama 'Twelve Years a Slave' about a man living in New York in the mid 1800's who is kidnapped and sold into slavery in the deep south. The movie - directed by acclaimed auteur Steve McQueen - also stars Michael Fassbender and BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH.
