Five of Michael Jackson 's siblings are contesting the legitimacy of the late singer's will, claiming that lawyers forged his signature on the document. The disgruntled members of the family are harking back to allegations that they have made in the past, that Michael did not want John Branca and John MCClain involved in his estate, as well as accusing them of lying in order to get their mother, Katherine Jackson to increase their percentage of the income from Jacko's estate.
The five siblings contesting the will are Janet Jackson, Tito, Randy, Jermaine and Rebbie. Between them, they have written a letter to the law firm, demanding that they resign immediately as executors of Michael's estate. In the letter, they wrote "Our brother told us, in no uncertain terms and without hesitation in the months prior to his death, that he despised both of you and he did not want either of you to have anything to do with his life or estate for that matter," the New York Daily News reports. They also claim that they have proof that their brother Michael was in New York and not Los Angeles on the day that he supposedly signed the will, on the West Coast.
In an added guilt-trip, they claim that their mother Katherine, 82, is unwell and unable to cope with the stress brought about by the legal struggle. Michael's daughter, Paris Jackson, has refuted these claims, via Twitter, saying "[I] will defend my beloved family members with all I have, even if it means from other family members. I am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor. . She is completely fine."
