Michael Jackson's brother Tito has blasted reports their father Joe is grooming his grandchildren to become a new version of THE JACKSON 5.
Joe, who masterminded Michael's early career, was reportedly gearing up to transform Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II aka Blanket, seven, into an all-singing, all-dancing pop group called the Jackson Three.
Speculation grew after the Jackson clan patriarch told reporters, "I keep watching Paris. She wants to do something... (and) Blanket can really dance."
But the Thriller icon's older brother Tito insists his father has no plans to force the youngsters into performing.
He says, "My father has no intentions whatsoever of turning Michael's kids into a singing group. He's been there, done that already. Michael's kids are going to be allowed to be pretty much what they want to be, as long as it's beneficial to themselves and to the world. They are not going to be pushed into becoming performers."
But the second oldest Jackson son admits that if the children want to become singers like their father, they will be allowed to pursue that dream: "If it's natural, then maybe they will. Blanket is the one I can see it happening to. He is so like Michael."
