Michael Sheen landed a role as Ben Affleck's boss in an upcoming movie by chance - after turning up on set to visit his actress girlfriend Rachel McAdams.
The Welsh star showed up to see MCAdams at work on the as-yet-untitled romantic drama and was taken by surprise when director Terrence Malick roped him into shooting scenes.
Sheen tells the Bbc Film Review, "Apparently, if you're an actor and you turn up on a Terrence Malick set, he asks you to be in his film. So I got to be Ben Affleck's boss for a day."
It's not the first time Sheen and MCAdams have worked together - the pair played secret lovers in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.
Malick's latest project boasts a star-studded cast, which also includes Javier Bardem, Jessica Chastain, Rachel Weisz and Olga Kurylenko.
