Actress Michelle Pfeiffer moved away from Hollywood after the paparazzi's incessant hounding made her long for a "lifestyle change".
The Scarface star took time out from Tinseltown with her husband, Ally MCBeal director David Kelley, and two children Claudia, 14, and John, 12, to seek a quieter life in the country - and she hasn't looked back.
She says, "I was never unhappy in Los Angeles other than the paparazzi had gotten a little out of control... well, that's an understatement!
"We just wanted a change, hence the move to Nothern California. And it's beautiful and ever so slightly slower than L.A. There's a much more diverse community of people from different walks of life.
"And now we can have horses and property and my daughter can ride. So it's a lifestyle change."
