Miles Davis' legendary bass player MICHAEL HENDERSON is taking Snoop Dogg to court after accusing the rapper of illegally sampling one of his songs.
The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker is alleged to have used parts of Henderson's Riding on the track Flashbacks, which featured on a 2008 mixtape.
Henderson claims Snoop Dogg went on to unlawfully incorporate his music on another song, titled Hands on the Wheel, which was allegedly used to boost interest and ticket sales in the rap superstar's West Fest tour in June, 2008.
Warzone's members, Goldie Loc, Kam and MC Eiht, have been named in the copyright infringement lawsuit, along with Snoop and his bosses at Universal Records.
Henderson is also suing for unfair competition and unjust enrichment. He wants the case to be heard in a trial by jury in Michigan and is seeking unspecified damages, reports AllHipHop.com.
