Miley Cyrus, the 18-year-old American actress and musician, has starred as 'Hannah Montana' for the final time after 'Hannah Montana Forever' had its series finale last night (16th January 2011). The show, which debuted back in 2006, followed the story of an ordinary teenage girl who took on the persona of a famous pop singer by night. The series was adapted into a hit feature film in 2009 and made Cyrus an international teen icon.
In the show's final episode, Cyrus' character 'Miley Stewart' was faced with the decision of whether to take a coveted movie role or attend college with her best friend and the entire fourth season has focused on Miley revealing her double life to her friends and family. However, there was no time for the actress to tune in for the final episode as she was busy filming her new movie 'So Undercover', reports the UK's Daily Mail. Cyrus was photographed on set in New Orleans with her mother Tish and the 'Entourage' star Jeremy Piven. The action-comedy, which is set for release later this year, follows the story of a street-smart private detective who is hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority house.
The 18-year-old, who made a cameo appearance in 'Sex and the City 2', is also set to star in the forthcoming movie 'LOL: Laughing Out Loud', alongside Demi Moore, Ashley Greene and LINA ESCO.
