Actress Milla Jovovich was motivated to get back in shape for the new Resident Evil movie after a fan poked fun at her look in the last film of the franchise.
The 36 year old gave birth to daughter Ever in 2007, just weeks before she began shooting action film Resident Evil: Afterlife, and while Jovovich admits her physique was not as toned as it had been in her previous pictures, she was crushed by one unfavourable review on Twitter.com.
She tells ETonline.com, "One dude wrote, 'God, your arms aren't as toned in the poster as they were in the other movies.'"
The actress refused to let the comment get her down, and instead she used the remark to motivate her get back to the gym for Resident Evil: Retribution, which hits U.S. theatres next month (Sep12).
Jovovich trained for a gruelling eight months to prove her follower wrong, and now she hopes all her hard work will pay off: "I was like, 'Alright, dude, you think my arms were flabby on the last poster, look at this one!'"
