Heavy rock supergroup Ministry have been reactivated by Al Jourgensen just three years after he told fans there would never be another record or show.
The group will join the Scorpions, Cradle of Filth and Hammerfall, among other acts, at next year's (Aug12) Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, according to Blabbermouth.net.
Jourgensen insisted that a Dublin, Ireland show at theTripod venue in July, 2008, would be the band's last - but overwhelming ticket demand prompted him to add a second night.
Jourgensen also told fans he would never reform the band after the farewell tour, stating, "Who am I gonna get to reunion-ise with? I'm the f**king band. So unless I make a reunion with myself...
"I've got a lot of other stuff going on... I've got a record label, I've got a lot of other bands I need to babysit for. There would be no time, need, or inclination to ever get some kind of redundancy going on."
