Miranda Kerr has revealed she named her baby-boy after her childhood sweetheart who died in a tragic car accident. Kerr, who gave birth to 'Flynn Christopher' seven months ago, said she promised her ex-boyfriend she would name her first child after him.
Speaking to Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper, Kerr said her sweetheart Christopher Middlebrook died in a car crash when he was just a teenager, adding, "After he died, I wrote him a letter that said I hoped to name my first child after him in some way". The Victoria Secret's model is now married to Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, who said he'd be "happy" to use the name. The couple married back in July 2011 after three years together. Kerr recently revealed how she feared the worst after going through labour in January 2011, telling Australia's Sunday Magazine, "I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body.I kept thinking, 'how do women do this?' But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined".
Miranda Kerr is currently signed with Img Models, Next Model Management Paris and Traffic Models. She hit the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week for the Balenciaga's Fall collection, just two months after giving birth.
