Country star Miranda Lambert is developing a new U.S. TV drama based on her upbringing.
The House That Built Me hitmaker's parents, Richard and Beverly Lambert, worked as private investigators in Lindale, Texas, when the singer was growing up, and now the Grammy winner has drawn on her experiences as the daughter of two detectives for an upcoming project.
Bosses at TV network NBC have picked up the series, which will be produced by the 28 year old, according to Deadline.com.
The programme will likely be a family affair - Miranda's mum has signed on to serve as a consultant.
