In her suit, Barton claims her mum Nuala is nothing but a "greedy stage mother posing as a talent manager", and also alleges she lied to her daughter about her income on a film called The Hoarder.

The actress reveals she discovered she was being paid more than her mum had suggested, and came to the conclusion Nuala was pocketing the difference on top of a 10 per cent management fee.

In the documents, obtained by TMZ.com, Barton also claims her mother kept the profits from a handbag line and a fashion boutique she opened in her daughter's name in London.

Mischa claims her parents now live in her former home and "sit back expecting their daughter's hard work and dedication to her craft to support their lifestyle".
