Mischa Barton wants to become a spokesperson for Weight Watchers.

The 28-year-old actress' size has fluctuated in recent years but she is currently winning her battle with the bulge and wants to share her story with other women to inspire them and thinks the company would be a great fit for her.

A source told America's Star magazine: ''Mischa is dying to be the next Jessica Simpson and partner up with a weight-loss company. She's personally reached out to companies like Weight Watchers, Atkins and even Ab Cuts.''

The former 'The O.C.' actress - famous for her slender figure when she starred in the teen drama - previously admitted she ''naturally struggles'' with her weight after signing a contract to promote mushroom-based diet supplement Proactol XS, which contains chitosan, a non-digestible dietary fibre made from the shells of crustaceans and sourced from mushrooms.

She said at the time: ''As someone who naturally struggles with their weight, I wanted to find a supplement which worked in harmony with my body. I use Proactol XS as it has no side effects, is sourced naturally and lets me manage my weight safely.''
