Monty Python's MR CREOSOTE sketch in THE MEANING OF LIFE has topped a new list of the Funniest Movie Scenes of All Time.

The skit, in which Terry Jones plays a greedy diner who eats so much he explodes, beat a sequence in THE Blues Brothers, where John Belushi and DAN AYKROYD behave badly in a fine restaurant to claim the top spot in the MAXIM GOES TO THE MOVIES magazine.

The top five is:

1. MR CREOSOTE in MONTY PYTHON'S THE MEANING OF LIFE

2. THE RESTAURANT SEQUENCE in THE BLUES BROTHERS

3. KEVIN KLINE TORTURES MICHAEL PALIN in A Fish Called Wanda

4. THE SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER DANCE ROUTINE in The Producers

5. Bill Murray + CHEVY CHASE GET STONED in Caddyshack
