Veteran singer Morrissey made chart history today (09APR06) by topping the first UK albums chart to include album downloads. The former Smiths frontman's RINGLEADER OF THE TORMENTORS beat out competition from Massive Attack compilation COLLECTED, which is at number two. Pink's I'M NOT DEAD is a new entry at number three, while Embrace drop three places to number four with THIS NEW DAY. Kooks are at number five with INSIDE IN/INSIDE OUT. Meanwhile, in the UK singles chart Gnarls Barkley are at number One for a second week with CRAZY. The track last week (02APR06) become the first song to have a British number one solely based on download sales. At number two, having jumped 17 places, is Mary J Blige and U2 with ONE, while Ne-Yo's SO SICK drops a place to number three. Orson's NO TOMORROW climbs a place to number four, as does KOOKS track NAIVE to take this week's number five.
