Veteran rocker Morrissey has scrapped the rest of his U.K. concerts as ill health continues to blight his world tour.
The former Smiths frontman has been struggling with a throat condition for months, postponing the start of his gigs in the U.S. and cancelling a string of dates in the U.K throughout May (09).
And now he has been ordered by a doctor to axe his final two concerts in Britain, scheduled for Friday and Saturday (29&30May09) in London.
The news comes as a further blow to his British fans, who have now seen the star postpone seven shows in the U.K this year (09).
Morrissey's gigs in France on 1 and 2 June (09) will also not go ahead.
It is hoped the singer will recover to continue his European tour with a show in Luxembourg on 5 June (09).
Organisers have promised the scrapped dates will be rescheduled and have urged fans to hold on to their tickets.
