Disturbia - Comments and Message Board

This was the worst movie that I have ever seen. Although there may have been a premature plot the content of the movie was ridiculous, here was a boy who saw what he believed was a serial killer at work, then he sends his bimbo girlfriend to spy on him at the store. How this was the first blunder, the girl was tipping around the store following a man, she could have casually moved through the store as many do with a cell phones, no she was playing sherlock homes (stupid). Then she gets in the car and eureka he appears in front of her, but instead of rolling up the windows and let him speak to her protected by the glass, she has the windows down and he gets in. One would think that if you were anxious enough to tip through the store secretly, you would have at least been afraid enough to raise the windows,(this is what I call a director's blunder). Secondly, if there were news reports addressing that there were slayings, one would thing that once the killer was detained there would be another new report addressing what was found at the house and it "appears" to fit the descriptions eariler reported. And it would have given closure to the movie. Again it made no logical sence. One of the worst movies in history!!! Enough Said.....

What an exciting film. Sure, it was often predictable and you felt used, but, the director and writers and cinamatographer take you for one hell of a ride. Go with it, let it play you and you will have a great time. I saw it just an hour ago, and, I want to see it again, just to try to figure out how many tributes to Hitchc**k and Kubrick I can find. The film is made for those who are in the computer/UTube/video cell phone generation. It was so much fun to "take the ride". I give this film a 3 1/2 star out of 4. Go and have fun.
