Set Me Free Movie Review

French people are weird, but French Canadian people are even weirder. Sorry, that's just the way it is, and this Quebecois coming of age story (young girl with bad haircut can't relate to her deadbeat dad, experiments with lesbianism, and likes floating underwater just for kicks) is no exception. Interesting nuances abound, but the overall story is flat, its characters difficult to like.

Aka Emporte-moi.
