Katy Perry is starting to reappear into the public spotlight again following her split with husband Russell Brand, and the latest news is that she'll be re-releasing her hugely successful album 'Teenage Dream,' the re-issue being titled 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.' Out on March 13th 2012 it's unclear what the version will feature though it's expected to include re-workings and tracks that maybe didn't make the final cut first time round.
Talking to MTV, the album's producer Tricky Stewart had said back in October "Katy and I went into [the studio] just to address some issues with records that we had done in the past that didn't end up going on Teenage Dream. So we are in the process of just listening and freshening up things and getting ready for something special she has going on." The producer had been evasive about the content which would make up and re-release but did shed light on one particular song named 'Dressing Up.' "This song is really special. It's called 'Dressing Up,' so it's going to be a big record, I think," he'd said, "It definitely fits. It's right there in what her sensibilities are as a musician and a songwriter. She doesn't change much. She has a very keen musical taste. It'll be really good."
Perry has endured a hit and miss January since divorcing her husband Brand on December 30th of last year, cancelling an appearance at the People's Choice Awards - though then winning four awards regardless - and then publicly snubbing her estranged spouse by unfollowing him on Twitter.
