Muse star CHRIS WOLSTENHOLME was wary of allowing the band to be linked to the TWILIGHT movie franchise - because he thought it may be uncool.
The group's hit song Supermassive Black Hole was featured in the first 2008 movie, and they also contributed tunes to last year's (09) The Twilight Saga: New Moon as well as the current instalment, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
The British rockers have since credited their inclusion on the soundtracks with helping them find chart success in America - but bassist Wolstenholme wasn't always convinced they should allow their songs to be used.
He tells the BBC, "I'm not sure how cool it is to be on those kind of things but sometimes you've just got to get your music out there in different ways.
"You have to take every opportunity you get over there (America) and sometimes you have to sell your soul."
Frontman Matt Bellamy has previously admitted he's unashamed Muse's songs are used on the movie albums - because he's a huge fan of the franchise.
