Former British pop star Myleene Klass volunteered as a midwife's assistant on Tuesday (01May12) to launch a new Save The Children campaign.
The singer stepped into a pair of scrubs to give a helping hand to nurses on the maternity ward at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Klass' visit was organised to promote the Build It For Babies appeal, which aims to provide life-saving clinics for mums in Bangladesh.
The mother-of-two took to Twitter.com to share a photo of herself clutching sleeping newborns, and wrote, "Mega busy day. Launching build it for babies... I'm going to be a midwife for the day!! *gets ready to catch* On midwife duty, Omg. My ovaries hurt, I don't wana (sic) give them back!"
