Mystery Jets bass player Kai Fish has quit the band to front a new project.
The young rocker released a solo album last year (11) and recently told the NME that he had considered leaving the band during the recording sessions for their new album Radlands.
But he has told the publication he can no longer be part of the group: "I sat down with the guys and said, 'I'm finding being in the band really hard, but I'll try my best to carry on.' And I did, but feelings just don't go away."
His Mystery Jets bandmates have recruited bassist Peter Cochrane to replace Fish for the band's upcoming tour.
