Supermodel Naomi Campbell and French actor Olivier Martinez were the toast of the Unesco Charity Gala in Germany on Saturday (19Nov11) as they were honoured for their philanthropy.
The two stars were celebrated by officials at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, joining fellow actors Kathleen Turner, Clive Owen, Jet Li and Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan as honourees at the lavish Dusseldorf event.
The award was Campbell's latest accolade for her charity commitments - the runway beauty, who has organised a number of Fashion For Relief fundraisers over the years to raise money for victims of disasters such as the Haiti earthquake and the tsunami in Japan, was also recognised by the Gabrielle Angel Foundation gala in New York last month (Oct11).
Congratulating the British stunner on her latest accolade, her pal, Duran Duran star Simon Le Bon, writes on Twitter.com, "Huzzah to Naomi Campbell on being honoured at the Unesco gala at the weekend for her charity work @fashion4relief The girl goes on and on."
Campbell befriended Le Bon after joining fellow supermodels Helena Christensen and Cindy Crawford to dress up as the 1980s pop stars for the band's new video, Girl Panic!.
