Hollywood star Naomi Watts is in a constant state of confusion - because she feels American, Australian and British all at the same time.

The MULHOLLAND DR. actress was born in England, before being raised in Australia then moved to America to follow her acting dream - giving her a confused sense of nationality.

She says, "I'm both Australian and English - but I have a British passport."

And her roots have given her a particular source of pride after receiving a Best Actress nomination from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for her lead role in 21 GRAMS.

She explains, "I felt chuffed to get a Bafta nomination because of all my British connections."
