Life Is Good has debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 149,000 first-week sales, toppling last week's number one, Uncaged by the Zac Brown Band, which falls a spot to two on the new chart.
The Kidz Bop 22 compilation debuts at three, while Frank Ocean's Channel Orange and Believe by Justin Bieber round out the top five.
And there's more success for new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises on the album chart - the movie's Hans Zimmer soundtrack becomes the first all-score album to debut in the top 10 for a decade.
The release enters the chart at eight, becoming the first to debut in the top 10 since John Williams' Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones in May, 2002.
