Natalie Portman has married her fiancd Benjamin Millepied, People Magazine reports. The Black Swan actress has been engaged to Benjamin for two years and they tied the knot on the coast of Big Sur in California. The couple's son, Aleph, is 14 months old. In attendance at the Jewish ceremony, which took place at a private home, were a host of friends and family, including Ivanka Trump.
"I now have the possibility of taking on French nationality. It would accomplish the Francophile dreams of my father and myself" Portman recently told the French magazine 'Madame Figaro.' "I lived in Paris when I was 12 and my father gave me the name Natalie as an homage to Gilbert Becaud's song. Everything in my life has drawn me towards a French family." Portman, 31, and Millepied, 35, first met on the set of Black Swan, possibly the pinnacle of Natalie's movie career so far. Whilst Portman starred in the movie, Benjamin worked as choreographer. They began dating whilst the movie was being filmed.
Also in attendance at the wedding and grabbing headlines, was the former child star Macauley Culkin. Last week there was confusion in the media over Culkin's wellbeing, after reports surfaced that he was maintaining a potentially devastating heroin addiction. However, US Weekly have reported that he attended Natalie's wedding; the pair are thought to have been "friends for years."
