LATEST: Troubled rapper Nate Dogg will remain behind bars after failing to raise bail money following his stalking arrest.
The star, real name Nathaniel Hale, was arrested on 23 June (08) after a car chase with his estranged wife. He was charged with three felony counts of making criminal threats and stalking, and one misdemeanour count of driving with a suspended license.
After a court appearance in Los Angeles on Wednesday (16Jul08), the wheelchair-bound rap star was remanded into custody and bail was set at $100,000 (GBP50,000).
He was also ordered to stay 100 yards away from his ex-wife, Latoya.
Hale will remain in custody until he can come up with the bail money.
