Movie star Wesley Snipes is heading back to the small screen for his first big Tv role in 25 years.
The Blade actor will feature in crime thriller series Endgame, alongside Strike Back's Philip Winchester, who will play a former intelligence officer-turned-security expert who becomes drawn into a mysterious conspiracy in Las Vegas.
Bosses at U.S. network NBC have approved plans to shoot the pilot, marking Snipes' first main Tv gig since he featured in short-lived 1990s cop series H.E.L.P.
He was recently considered for the leading male role in director Lee Daniels' hit Tv project Empire, but the part was eventually won by Terrence Howard.
Ironically, Empire's Damon Gupton has also been added to the cast of Endgame.
