ABBA star Agnetha Faltskog has been put under 24 hour surveillance in Sweden after receiving a death threat from a crazed fan.

Police rushed bodyguards to the singer's remote home on the island of Ekero after Agnetha - who has a live-in security team after being plagued by stalkers in the past - was sent a sickening letter in the post.

Her manager STEFFAN LIND says, "Agnetha receives many letters every day, but this one was different and serious."

Four years ago (00) Faltskog, 54, took a court injunction out banning former lover GERT VAN DER GRAAF from going near her after the pair split and he began stalking her.
