Aimee Osbourne Set For The Spotlight
KELLY and Jack Osbourne's reclusive sister AIMEE is hoping to make a name for herself as one of the stars of a new version of EMILY BRONTE's classic novel WUTHERING HEIGHTS.
Aimee, 19, will star in "a secondary role" in another adaptation of the classic tale, which will air on MTV - where The Osbournes became a reality TV hit - later this year (03).
Aimee will play RAQUELLE, best friend of the lovelorn ISABELLE, who will be played by actress Katherine Heigl.
Isabelle, who was played by Geraldine Fitzgerald in the most acclaimed movie version of Wuthering Heights back in 1939, weds the vengeful HEATHCLIFF once his real love CATHY marries Isabelle's brother EDGAR.
Aimee, who studied acting in London, says, "I don't have huge intentions to be some big actress. I was casually asked. It was a great experience and I'm glad I did it."15/07/2003 02:19
