Aussie Mag Pays For One Year Contract With Hewitt
Australian celebrity couple BEC and Lleyton Hewitt have signed a AUS$1 million ($760,000/GBP420,000) year-long exclusive deal with Woman's Day magazine.
While many stars sign one-off magazine deals to cover weddings or births, the tennis ace and his pregnant actress wife have agreed to grant the weekly publication sole access to their life for a 12 month period.
Australian Consolidated Press consultant JENNI GILBERT, who oversaw the deal, explains, "Bec and Lleyton are not owned by anybody, and I know they sell very well. Woman's Day are a slick outfit, and they knew it was a good get to have.
"As their consultant, I said it was a great idea and assisted with a couple of my contacts."
The sports hero and former HOME AND AWAY soap star married in Sydney in July (05) after a whirlwind nine month courtship.
