THE Backstreet Boys are taking time of their heavy album promotional tour to raise money for a cancer charity.

The I WANT IT THAT WAY group - Nick Carter, Aj Mclean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and KEVIN RICHARDSON - will join the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY's Relay For Life event at Jefferson County High School in Tennessee on 10 June (05).

After walking the track at the school, the boys will solicit donations from the fans.

Richardson has been a heavy campaigner for cancer treatments since his father lost his battle with colon cancer in 1991.

The Backstreet Boys release their comeback album NEVER GONE later this month (JUN05).
