The Band drummer Mickey Jones is to turn an 8mm movie he shot backstage with Bob Dylan in 1966 into a new DVD.

Jones filmed the candid footage when Dylan and The Band toured the world, but then promptly forgot all about it.

He recently rediscovered the footage while reorganising a storage unit and now the candid tour film, 1966 WORLD TOUR: THE HOME MOVIES, will be released next month (FEB03).

The film includes never-before-seen performance clips from shows in Europe and Australia; and behind-the-scenes footage of Dylan and The Band checking out European landmarks and talking about getting stoned.
