Barry Manilow, The Wig And The Plastic Surgeon

Singer Barry Manilow avoided being snapped leaving a plastic surgeon's office - by donning a disguise of dark glasses and a blonde wig.

American tabloid the NATIONAL ENQUIRER has published pictures of a man in disguise, which it claims is the 57-year-old COULD IT BE MAGIC singer, who had hoped to slip through the streets of Beverly Hills, California, without recognition after the surgery. According to the publication, Manilow had a complete upper and lower facelift, which includes the removal of drooping skin from the eyelids and the general tightening of facial skin.

A source says, "He wore big sunglasses and a Super Bowl cap on top of the long blonde hairpiece.

"Maybe he wanted to go unnoticed, but he called even more attention to himself with the kooky getup!"

Pals say Manilow is so thrilled with the results of his 29 July (03) procedure, he now plans to get his prominent nose worked on, after he accidentally walked into a wall in his Palm Springs, California, home earlier this summer (03).
