British dance stars Basement Jaxx are desperate to work with controversial actress/singer Grace Jones, because she is "bonkers".

Plans to collaborate with the statuesque SLAVE TO THE RHYTHM star at the WIRELESS music festival in London in June (05) have collapsed - but they are still hopeful to unite with Jones, who hit headlines yesterday (06APR05) when she was thrown off a Paris to London train after a row over her fare.

FELIX BUXTON says, "We're trying to get Grace Jones. That would be good, we've seen her before and she's definitely interesting.

"I think she's been singing opera at the top of her voice while fishing, or something bizarre.

"Absolutely bonkers, but very exciting to see, just because there's nothing like her. There's nothing like Grace."
