Sexy singer Beyonce Knowles has furiously denied reports she is homophobic - after comments she made about Madonna's kiss with Britney Spears were taken out of context.
The Crazy In Love beauty, 22, was horrified when she saw the offending headline accompanying a story about her performance at the MTV VMA AWARDS in August (03) which read: "God Let Me Strip On Stage But Not Kiss Girls."
Inside the article, the deeply-religious singer was quoted as saying, "I have standards. There are things I will not do."
But Beyonce - who insists she is a staunch supporter of homosexual rights - told American gay magazine HX: "It hurt. Because it was a headline, people thought I said it. But it never came out of my mouth."
