Bloc Party Slam Feuds

Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke has slammed bands who feud in public and urges artists to put their artistic differences aside to peacefully co-exist.

The BANQUET singer is determined to behave like his idols Radiohead and avoid being drawn into futile battles because it devalues his music.

But he still struggles to hide his hatred for hellraising rockers Oasis.

He says, "I'm not going to talk about it. If I was to say what I really felt about Oasis or New Order it would be some crap headline and there would be no end to it. Public feuding between bands is completely pointless.

"Obviously we hate Oasis, obviously we hate certain other bands but we don't have to talk about it in the press. You don't hear Radiohead slagging off other bands."
