Bowie Halts Prague Concert With Shoulder Pain
Rocker David Bowie was forced to cut a concert short in Prague yesterday (23JUN04), after complaining to the crowd about nerve problems in his shoulder.
The 57-year-old ASHES TO ASHES singer took to the stage late, and then after singing for one hour, left for a 10-minute break, say concertgoers.
Bowie returned to play two songs, the last one seated on a stool clutching his arm. He then apologised and left for good. There's no further word on his condition.
The singer has had a tough time in the past week - at a concert in Oslo, Norway, he was hit in the eye by a lollipop thrown by someone in the crowd.24/06/2004 01:58
