Brando's Son Cited For Contempt Of Court
The son of late actor Marlon Brando has been ordered to appear in court next month (MAY06) to answer charges of contempt. CHRISTIAN BRANDO has been accused of illegally interfering with court proceedings while testifying in the Robert Blake civil trial. During his testimony last October (05), Brando refused to answer key questions to protect himself from possible self-incrimination. According to court documents, jurors also said Brando made gestures and mouthed words at them during the trial. Last year (05), Blake was acquitted of murdering his wife BONNIE LEE BAKELY in a criminal trial and was also involved in a civil suit brought by the victim's family last autumn (05).
