BEACH BOYS co-founder BRIAN WILSON has signed up to play at Denmark's annual ROSKILDE FESTIVAL this summer (05).

Other artists scheduled to play perform at the musical spectacular, which runs from 30 June until 3 July (05), include BLACK SABBATH and JUNIOR SENIOR.

Last year (04), 75,000 fans attended the outdoor event where they were treated to more than 150 artists, including the PIXIES, MORRISSEY, SAHARA HOTNIGHTS and AVRIL LAVIGNE.

First held in 1971, the festival in Roskilde - 25 miles (40 kilometres) west of the Danish capital Copenhagen - was inspired by the 1969 WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL in upstate New York.
