BUSTED star James Bourne has bought trendy American clothing company SIC PUPPY so he has something to fall back on should his music career come to a premature end.

The CRASHED THE WEDDING hitmaker is keen to ensure he's financially secure if the British pop trio split up, and is such a fan of Sic Puppy wear he decided to purchase the brand.

Bourne hopes to sell his own range of clothes from next month (AUG04).

A source says, "James is considering ways to make a living outside music and Sic Puppy is a brand he's always been keen on.

"The US company that owns it wasn't doing well so he has taken the reins.

"He loved the label so much that Busted were originally called Sic Puppy."
